Us
Angel Children Home (Sadhuvu Angel Social Service
& Community Development Society)
is a registered charitable not for profit organization
started by Israel Mungamuri family
in the year 2002 with the help of 
The organization is managed by the
governing body of the society which consists of
dedicated mission minded Christians serving the needs
of India’s poorest orphans and destitute
children, irrespective of caste, color or creed.
The Angel Children Home is located in
a rented building at Rajahmundry, a city in Andhra
Pradesh, a state in the southern region of India. The
principal languages are Telugu and Urdu. Agriculture
is the main occupation of about 70 percent of the
people in Andhra Pradesh.
Currently, we have more than 35
children being loved and cared for in our full-time
care, and 4 staff workers to look after the children
and live at the campus with the children. Like our
own children, we also want these kids to be whole in
heart, mind and body. It is thrilling to offer them a
better life, and to teach them about joy and
happiness and eternity.
The organization is committed to
spend every penny that is contributed to the Angel
Children Home for direct ministry and is accountable
to all its sponsors. In fact, our board members
personally fund all administrative expenses of the
organization including legal and reporting expenses,
phone, travel, board meetings, postage, printing and
public relations.
At our Angel Children Home we
provide these facilties and activities
to develop the natural talents and aptitude
of each child, and guide
the children for future independence and
self-suffciency.
 
Better Stayal facilities
Accommodation, clothing, lighting, supply of
protected water, maintenance of sanitation of the
home and surroundings were provided.
Hygienic
and Nutritious food Timely breakfast,
lunch and dinner were provided.
Education
Admitted in the local missionary aided
school which is half a kilometer distance from the
Home, and the children are being sent by arranging
local transport i.e. 3 wheeler autos/taxis.
Follow-up
of Studies A regular and qualified tutor is
handling the study hours during morning and evening
to guide, teach and also to inculcate the practice of
regular study and discipline.
 
Spiritual
& Recreation Activities A qualified
teacher is handling spiritual & recreation
activities as per the age group.
Extra
Curricular Activities Visit to exhibitions,
circus etc., as per the time and availability.
Seasonal
excursions are being taken unto make the children
relax themselves and to have the freedom of moving
with each other in a disciplined manner under the
watch of the home staff.
Participation
of children in the music, drawing i.e., in fine arts
and also competitions like elocution etc. and in
sports and games.
 
Upkeeping
of the Health The children are being
provided necessary and immediate attention and
management of ailments by a qualified doctor who is
available round the clock "as Call Duty “
in addition to the periodical check-ups.
 
Courtesy
towards Parents/Guardians The
parents/guardians are allowed to visit the home one
or two times in a month as per the psychological
condition of the children. The helpless parents/guardians
are being paid travel charges (to and fro) and
provided food on the day of the visit, and the
expenditure under this aspect is being incurred by
the governing body.
The children
are being allowed to visit their native places when
they are very curious to visit and they are also
being paid travel charges (to and fro) which is met
by the governing body too.
Celebration
of Birthdays and Festivals Birthdays of each
child is being celebrated in the Home with
pleasantness as per the custom in practice.
Both National
& Religious festivals are being celebrated with
“Cheer & Fun" complemented with
spiritual tradition and also with
presentations/complements followed by special
dinner/lunch.
 
 
Our Desire is to nurture
these children in an environment that will give them
an opportunity to become upstanding,
productive citizens with a knowledge
of right and wrong and with good character.
Without Our Help these
children will be on the streets trying hard to
survive
by begging, picking rags, shoe shining, and
whatever jobs they can find, their liitle
minds are full of big dreams for a better tomorrow.
It is thrilling to offer them
a better life, and to teach them about joy and
happiness and eternity.
